CBIT� stands for Continuous Built-In Test, and no one but Systron Donner Automotive offers it%26#x2014;because it's patented. The key word here is "continuous." Virtually all other sensors only test their own performance at commanded intervals (such as vehicle start-up), and must go off-line to do so. Some suppliers don't have a command test at all, which obligates the customer to invest additional resources. Not so with the MicroGyro: its integrated CBIT� technology is always monitoring the unit's health and well-being, providing a measure of assurance unavailable elsewhere.
