Every specialty employs its own unique vocabulary, and the Systron Donner Automotive world of angular rate-sensing is no exception. As a convenience, we've included this Glossary section, so that you can check on any of the terms you may find used throughout this website and our accompanying spec sheets and literature. Some of these terms (such as "Modeling") may seem familiar, yet hold a new meaning within this realm; others (such as "Hysteresis") simply aren't familiar to most people without advanced engineering degrees.
